RawrMy laptop is back, up and running, and it's better than ever. And who do I have to thank for this? No fool in a store, that's for sure. Last time I went to a store to get my laptop fixed the thing was worse than ever! No no, I have my wonderful and awesome, totally fantastic sweetheart of a boyfriend to thank for this beautiful thing being back in my possession. He's such a computer wizz, it's amazing that my laptop doesn't sing every time it opens. xDD
Halloween was yesterday and I did the best thing ever. I got together with a group of my friends, nine of us in total, and we went to a park in Peabody dressed as Left 4 Dead characters. The only exception to that rule was one of my friends, Andrew, who dressed as Alex from Triple Strike. I was the witch and dude, looking back at my photos, I looked more creepy than I did scary. I could've done a lot better with my make-up, but it wasn't bad for the short amount of time I had to do it all.
While we were at the park, some stupid people were going to call the cops on us, so we left and went back to my boyfriend's house. We hung out there, chilling in his backyard, taking pictures and snooping in his neighbor house as they watched Dora the Explorer... Then it started to rain so we went inside, played a little L4D and ate. Then ~Teh-Nej and *ColorfulObscurity had to go home, sadly enough, and we spent a good portion of the time after that playing Blazblu and Triple Strike and a bunch of crossover games. Once Jake got back from driving the two home, We played Brawl plus and the people who had never seen me play we shocked to learn that I was pretty damn good. If I wasn't using a 64 controller, I would've kicked serious butt (until playing against Andrew, he's just beast).
The night ended with me going home with ~tickledpinkxox and taking an hour plus long shower. I still didn't get all the paint out of my hair. So, now that I have my laptop, I plan to be writing more, especially seeing as I'm punished and "can only use the computer for school work". Thank goodness my English teacher assigns a lot of Creative Writing assignments and my Asia-Africa teacher assigns a lot of research papers. :'D
