 One day, there was a young boy, running about and playing in the rolling savannas of his homeland, when, out in the distance, he saw a great, billowing storm cloud. Filled with anxiety and uncertainty, he ran back to his village. Everyone from the small village where the boy lived knew that such an ominous cloud could mean only one thing: the Riders were coming.  The morning was called by a steady ringing sound. It rang aggravatingly in Lithuania's ear, and he squeezed his eyes shut, desperate to drown out the sound. Behind his eye lids, the sound was given color, a painful color that exploded in front of him. His head pounded, his heart raced, and his skin crawled. Why wasn't anyone answering the phone? Mindlessly, and painfully aware of everything around him, he groped blindly toward the noise, knocking the phone off the receiver to end the horrid sound. Russia returned at a reasonable hour, later than usual, but earlier than the previous night. Estonia, who kept himself awake in lieu of the previous night's events, put on tea water. Latvia had fallen asleep, despite his attempts to stay awake with Estonia and await Russia's arrival, and Lithuania ended up carrying him to bed hours prior. Lithuania, amid his multitude of assignments, went off on a mission to find a good bottle of vodka. The final loop written, the pen placed in the ink well, and sigh of relief breathed, the house suddenly seemed a lot more silent. It was calming, yet incredibly eerie at such an ungodly hour of the morning; the second hour of the day had a certain wonder about it, especially with the creaking of the large house echoing throughout well-adorned halls. Comfortably, the country stretched his arms over his head, the sockets of his arms snapping with delight, his fingers joining in a soft medley of pops, soon returning to the desk to be rubbed on his face.
